Billy Broker was in his office one afternoon working on a large commercial listing proposal. Having misplaced his calculator, he was having difficulty determining the commission amount he would receive. After several frustrating attempts with paper and pen, Billy called Sally Secretary to his office for assistance.
Billy proceeds to ask Sally, “If I have an industrial warehouse for sale for 7 million dollars, what would you take off for a 9.75% commission?”
Sally thinks for a moment… and replies, “everything but my shoes.
